To change the first day of the week to align with your pay cycle, go to Planday Web > Settings > Your organisation> General, and then adjust the First day of the week setting to your desired day. The default setting is Monday.
If you've changed the start of the week and use the Contract rules feature, remember to update the start day for all relevant rules under Settings > People > Contract rules to align with your payroll cycle.
Please note:
If the updated day of the week doesn't appear immediately, please allow a few minutes for the system to update the change. Refreshing your browser's cache may also resolve the issue.
Contract rules and your pay cycle must be aligned to keep track of your employee's scheduled hours accurately. For example, if you choose Thursday as your start day of the week, then you should change the start date of the contract rules to also be a Thursday, sometime in the past.
The start day of the week cannot be changed if you use week-based supplements. If you would like to modify this, please contact our support team if the option is disabled for you.
