At Planday, we constantly improve features to make your day work. We want to keep you up-to-date on what's new in our product — check out the overview of updates that we released recently:

Schedule — Redesigned shift composer and editor is here!

  • Our freshly designed shift editor* is now live on the schedule page in line with the rest of Planday's modern design. Now when you create or edit a shift, you can expect an improved, more logical and readable layout. Here is what's new:

  • The look and feel of basic shift creation has received a full makeover.

  • You can now see the shift duration and total breaks duration at a glance.

  • All functional elements are structured better in a more logical layout.

  • A more coherent Breaks overview tab.

    • You can give your shift superstars a lunch-is-on-us paid break or add an unpaid smoke break for those who need it. Or simply add a breather for a healthier option. Your employees deserve it!

    • Find your department's Break rules in the new breaks tab as projected breaks if you use Punch Clock.

* Initially limited to select Planday organisations with full availability coming to all. screenshot.001.png

  • As mentioned in the last product update, from January 2024, Planday app will require a minimum OS version of iOS 16.0. We will stop supporting devices that are running iOS versions below iOS 16.0 Read more.

  • (Sweden & Norway only) Hogia integration received a UI update matching the new look of Planday and a new feature allowing admins to exclude specific Salary codes from the export. See Hogia integration — Setup guide with Planday
