The Performance feature enhances the Revenue module by allowing you to review incoming revenue based on which employees are working. Located within the Revenue tab via the Performance button, this feature provides scorecards, data tables, and graphs to help track performance. Additionally, you can export the data for further analysis. Follow the steps below to navigate and use the tool effectively.

Accessing the Performance Tool

  1. Go to Reports > Revenue > Performance
This opens the Performance view, where you can analyse revenue data, employee performance, and associated costs.

Filter Options

To customise the data you see in the Performance tool, use the filter options at the top of the page:

  • Date range: Select the period you want to review (e.g., a specific week or month).

  • Departments: Choose the relevant department(s) to focus your analysis.

  • Additional filters:

    • Employee groups: Filter by specific groups of employees.

    • Units: Refine data based on units within your organisation.

    • Days of the week: Focus on specific days (e.g., weekdays vs. weekends).

Compare Mode

Activate the Compare toggle to compare the selected date range with a different period. This helps you identify trends or changes in performance over time.

Key Metrics and Data Views

Below the filters, you’ll find various performance metrics and tables to help analyse revenue and costs:

1. Average revenue and cost per day

  • View average revenue and associated costs for each day of the week.

  • Use this section to identify patterns, such as which days generate the highest revenue or have the lowest costs.

Action: Click Export data to download this table as an Excel file for further analysis.

2. Average cost per hour

  • Displays hourly payroll costs and employee activity.

  • Use this to optimise scheduling by aligning staffing with revenue trends throughout the day.

Action: Click Export data to save this table for detailed reporting.

3. Revenue and cost on employee's working days

  • See revenue and payroll costs broken down by employees’ working days.

  • This is particularly useful for evaluating individual or team performance in relation to revenue.

Action: Like the other sections, you can click Export data to download the information.

How to Use This Data

  • Identify trends: Use day and hour-specific data to optimise staffing and improve revenue.

  • Evaluate team performance: Compare employee contributions to revenue with payroll costs.

  • Plan for improvements: Use the insights to adjust scheduling, manage costs, and maximise profitability.

By using the Performance tool in the Revenue module, you can make data-driven decisions to enhance your team’s efficiency and align staffing with business goals.
