Delete the legacy Kiosk App from your iPad.
Download the new Kiosk App from the App Store.

The Planday Kiosk App is a Punch Clock solution that allows employees to clock in and out directly on-site. With the Kiosk app, there is no need to rely on GPS, IP addresses, or employees' personal devices for time tracking.
Step 1: Download the Planday Kiosk App on an iPad or a tablet
iPad: Open the App Store, search for Planday Kiosk App and download the app.
Android tablet: Open Google Play, search for Planday Kiosk and download the app.
Step 2: Create a Punch Clock profile and Activation Code for your device
Create a Punch Clock profile
In your Planday workspace, go to Settings > Punch Clock > Profiles.
Click Create Profile.
Give the profile a name.
Select the departments to assign to this profile.
Choose the Employee identification method: Select how employees will identify themselves when using the punch clock:
Username: Requires employees to enter their username and password before punching in.
Employee Overview: Displays a list of employees with scheduled shifts for the day, allowing them to select their name from the list.
Click Save to create the profile.
Good to know:
Creating profiles is like setting up punch-in stations.
You can assign one or more departments to a profile, which helps group and filter employees.
A department can be added to multiple profiles.
Employees outside the assigned departments cannot use this profile to punch in.

What is a Punch Clock Activation Code?
A Punch Clock Activation Code is a unique identifier created when a device is activated for punch clock functionality. This code is stored directly on the device.
Punch Clock Activation Codes allow you to set up access for:
The Kiosk apps on iPads or tablets.
kiosk.planday.com, to clock in to shifts from a browser.
Once the device is set up, employees can punch in using these devices, ensuring seamless time tracking and accessibility.
Hover over the profile you just created in the previous step and click the Activation Code icon.
Copy or note down the Activation Code in the popup.
Each device can have only one Activation Code assigned to it.
To have multiple devices with the same department, you need to create multiple Punch Clock profiles (one Punch Clock profile = one device).
Step 3: Continue setting up the Planday Kiosk App on an iPad or tablet
Open the Planday Kiosk App.
Paste the Activation Code you copied earlier into the Kiosk app on iPad or Android tablet to complete the setup.
Good to know:
The code can be entered directly on the device or shared with an employee for easy on-site setup of the Kiosk app.
If needed, you can refresh the code to deactivate the previous one.
