Smarter tracking of availability entries

Having a clear record of availability changes is crucial: it shows exactly who updated an entry, when it was modified and why.

With the updated Availability page, you can easily export data and view the full history of availability entries in one place. This ensures accurate scheduling, better cost control and a transparent process you and your team can trust.

A fresh look at non-regular shifts

Get a new, clean and wholesome look of the Shift types page, designed to help you track non-regular shifts, like sick leave, training or trial shifts, and match your schedule needs.

A combination of a new modern look and easy-to-follow guidance allows admins to navigate the shift types effortlessly and ensure accurate time tracking, reporting and payroll.

How to find: Go to Settings > Schedule > Shift types

Upgraded interface for breaks management in Punch Clock

We made another update to Punch clock settings, where managers can control Access to breaks in Punch Clock. With the updated design, managers have an improved visual layout for monitoring and adjusting each department’s break clock-ins.

How to find: Go to Settings > Punch clock > Advanced > Access to breaks in Punch clock

Employee bulk creation, simplified

Got quite a few new employees to be added to Planday? Thanks to the enhanced employee bulk importer, employee onboarding feels like a fresh sea breeze – cool, effortless and unmistakably refreshing.

Upload your CSV or Excel file, adjust fields like emails, departments or employee groups and import them in one go. Your new employees can be invited instantly and start using Planday right away.

How to find: Go to People page > Create employees > Import from file
